The first stop of the Freeride World Tour went off today and I will have to say I was shocked!! We showed up to Chamonix to find the snow as hard as a rock. The event organizers had been searching for better snow tho and found some on the Italian side of Mount Blonc. We went over to Courmayeur and scoped the venue that looked like a lot of fun, minus the snow conditions.
The event went off today and to all our suprise everyone found great snow and went off. In the whole time I have been competing I have never seen the caliber of talent as I saw today. People were absolutely going off. From winner Aurelian Ducroz all the way to Jeremie Heitz sending it an loosing his ski, was truely an amazing day for Extreme skiing
